UPS didn't care about putting water on the aircraft at one point. They didn't care about catering, proper rest, reserves being on call 24/7, sleep rooms, decent pay, rest modules, etc, yet those are all gains we've made over the years, amongst others. Our job is to make them care. We've been successful in the past & I expect real gains to be made on the scheduling front in the next contract. I'm prepared to give the EB whatever ammunition they ask for as we delve into negotiations. If said gains are not there at the end of the day, I'm prepared to vote accordingly.
