Question is, what headset do you guys suggest I look at?

Looking for something not more then around 600$ TOPS, and something that would last me a long time with good guarentee, or warentee. Something comfortable, and that will protect my hearing for the long haul.

What do you guys out there, use/recommend? What to stay away from?

Thanks for all replies.
They told us in 1900 ground school that we will get hearing damage overtime if we don't use an ANR headset. I'm sure this applies for other props. The Bose X is the best headset out there, sound attenuation is good but most importantly it's very light after a while it doesn't feel like you're wearing a HS and you never get the classic headache after wearing a HS more than 2 hours. I would have to say though that on jet the X is overkill, it's almost silent.
