As a newly minted commercial pilot, it's assumed that you don't have a lot of experience flying. The trick then is to focus more on your outside of aviation experience that you can bring to the table. Focus on things that show good qualities and traits that might carry over into a flying job.

Judgement, management experience, character and responsibility are all good things to focus on. If you have other aviation experience (such as working the line or as an airline customer service agent), be sure to list that.

On my resume I keep both a "related experience" and "other employment" section. Under related experience all of my aviation jobs. Other emplyment has military service (non-flying), and two other management positions.

If you want, I'm happy to look over your resume and offer suggestions on what to include and what not to include. PM me and I'll send my email address.
