It is absolute fact that you can YS a 0600 report on your first day of reserve. I have done it multiple times. YSing an early SC is no different.
YS for a specific report time (trip) yes, but if needed for SC is different. A 0600 SC would violate the 10 hour rest and the rest is broken at midnight automatically, no? A trip request tells CS you will be rested for a specific report. Are we saying the same is true for a SC and that you are rested for the eventual 16 hour day of RAP plus duty? And that our personal rest was initiated at 2000 or earlier the evening before? Then do we need to report our start and end of rest? I'm not looking to complicate this but wondering how the legalese is worked out.
