I asked my recruiter this question regarding ranking for class date regarding CJO vs availabilty and was given a rather vague answer. Essentially no rules, just as leadership sees fit. I would imagine they would want a reasonably diverse group for each class. Just my 2c.
I asked pilot hiring this question a while back and they mentioned interview date would play a factor; but that doesn’t lead me to believe it would be the determining factor.
Very interested to see what news (if any) they’ll have for us on Friday.
