it's the double standard that I abhor. ALPA is more than happy to take dues from pilots it represents over the age of 65 while citing safety as its primary reason for opposing an age increase... makes zero sense to me.
I also abhor double standards, such as those in Let Experienced Pilots Fly leadership who have tacitly approved of ALPA's objection to raising the retirement age for almost four decades only to suddenly have a problem with it once they reach the top of their own seniority list.
