I would imagine 6 classes of 30 and then we are done hiring for the next few years. As 20% of our fleet gets parked, they will let attrition take it's place to keep the staffing numbers in-line. There has always been a disconnect between SDF and ATL. (Case in point, Beard vs. No Beard) In the end, ATL has the final say.
Where are you getting 20% of the fleet getting parked? No hiring for years? C'mon, I'm no "cheerleader" & try to keep my eyes open but I think you're being a bit over the top. There are still lots of good reasons for a prospective pilot to come to UPS. There are also many downsides that an outsider may not be aware of. Nothing wrong with bringing those things up, but there's no need for breathless hyperbole and over-exaggeration.
