Why would United even order the XLR's if they weren't planning to utilize them for the full potential? You don't need an XLR to do what the NEO can do. It will absolutely take over some of the flying that makes the 756 fleet so desireable.
yes it 100% will….once it is certified and on property…….neither of which will happen before 2026.
And YES you do need the XLR to do what the NEO CANT do because the NEO doesn’t have enough gas and isn’t ETOPS….yet.
