Also, would there be any diiference between express or ground or any other fedx branch? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!
Do NOT attempt this with FedEx Ground. Do NOT attempt it with ANY subsidiary of FedEx other than FedEx Express.

Being employed by FedEx Express makes you eligble to apply for any job openings within that division as in INTERNAL applicant, and that applies to Crewmember positions as well. You must have completed your minimum obligation to that particular job (the corporate minimum is one year, some positions require more) and you must meet the published requirements for the Crewmember position (check the website). If you have met the qualifications, you are guaranteed, as an INTERNAL applicant, an interview. You're not by any means guaranteed a job - - only an interview.

Being employed by FedEx GROUND does NOT make you eligible to apply for positions within FedEx Express.

The tough part is maintaining current flying experience while holding the FedEx Express permanent position. Which reminds me, another "gotcha" is the position must be permanent, either part-time or full-time, and not a temporary or seasonal or casual job.

Good luck.
