I beleive Airbus recently came out with a statement about the triaining diffrences going from a 319/320/321 to the 330/350 which was less than a week if memory serves me. If the upa and traning dept allow it, it would eliminate much of the traning costs for adding a new type.
not really because we are still 80% Boeing. Most of the pilots going to the 330/350 would not be Airbus pilots. Not to mention is the planes were put on lucrative or desirable routes then it would be 787/777 and 756 bidders as the senior pilots.
