As I said, I feel bad for how this person, alleged or not, is being treated, but that doesn't excuse the person's actions. If the conversation happened like that between me and my wife, I wouldn't just let it go at "ugh sorry I told you". Furthermore, I wouldn't have found out about my wife's call from the Jumpseat committee, the faa would have called me first as the person who witnessed the incident.
So everyone is or should be like you and your wife? You know every couple’s dynamics and relations?
And once again, not one of you can tell me WHAT you, as an airline pilot ,would report to the FAA in this case.
I find it sad that so many are willing to burn a pilot squarely based on hearsay. I’ll wait to get more info before condemning a pilot.
