Years? There are
always risks in any choice in this world. But while it’s not a zero chance, this is extremely,
extremely unlikely. Not even one year in the foreseeable future.
FWIW, BS has said they plan on monthly AE’s indefinitely, I think he finally prevailed in convincing his bosses the flexibility was worth the churn. As long as that is happening, or even every other month, I would give the same recommendation. Even if we go back to quarterly AE’s like Pre-Covid, there are still circumstances when I’d still recommend equipment over base.
In the end, it’s “your” choice. I’d just like folks to just understand the choice being made, the tradeoffs, and the rewards.
