There are numerous questions which are invalid.

The system's decision-making is apparent? The system does't make decisions. The pilot makes decisions and uses the system as another means of affecting flight controls.

The designers intent? How should one know the designers intent? We just operate the damn thing.

The system conveys its reasonining? It doesn't reason. It's Another form of flight control, and does what it's directed to do, by the pilot, through buttons, switches, assignments, and through the flight management computer, which the pilot programs and controls. What reasoning is there to convey? The pilot either understands its operation, or (s)he does not.

The system would be improved if I knew how it was making decisions? It doesn't make decisions. I do. The system simply does what I direct it to do.

What do I think of the underlying algorhythms? It's just another control yoke with added features, to aid in situational awareness. It maintains altitude. It maintains heading. It follows a course. Garbage in, garbage out.

The "quiz" presumes too much, and appears to be leading the responder. Moreover, without specifics as to what flight automation is involved, the responses are nearly meaningless.
