It’s as if they’re testing the MEC at this point.
At a very minimum, there’s a leadership environment where
someone said, “Absolutely, let’s do it. We’ll have top cover to do this
major change” knowing they were poking the bear. So I can’t rule out your supposition.
Regardless, it’s unsat, and were I on the MEC, would be demanding the company report on how the **** this happened.
I just hope folks aren’t placated by a little gold flake amongst the chicken feed, like impending “meal choice” changes. (Which proves they can make improvements outside the PWA if they choose).
