I have NO problem with the company benefitting from the SS and the two day reserve trip assignment process. These are things that we the pilot group also wanted, and many of us have benefitted from it. It IS possible that both sides can possibly benefit from mutually agreed upon language. It is also okay if you agree to disagree.
What is unconscionable is the company's blatant violation of the contract regarding the PR day issue. They might as well short the pay scales or 401k contributions. It is that black and white.
