Most departments (pricipals and "leadership" alike) have just flat-out refused to listen to the needs of their flight crews, as far as compensation, schedule, QoL, etc.
If they're struggling, they've earned it.
I wish that there was a LIKE button for your post. You are 100% correct. Corporate flight departments were like the only girl at the Riddle dance and ruled with an iron fist for 30 years, until the pilot pay shortage reared its head.. Now, its like a busload of pretty girls showed up at the dance and the other ones (the corporate flight departments) couldn't handle the competition. Apologies to my female Riddle buddies for my analogy, but you know that I am right, LOL!
