But to answer your stupid question: I gladly turned down AA to come to Atlas after working at their wholly-owned scumbag regional for 8 years. My QOL is FAR better than it ever would've been at the new, post-bankruptcy AA, and far better than that of my coworkers who stuck around at that place. I know several Atlas pilots who have turned down Delta and UAL as well.
Believe it or not, some of us are intelligent enough to have other sources of income which dwarf they pay gap between the two airlines. The schedules at Atlas make these other endeavours quite viable and easy to manage.
So maybe shut your trap and reflect on the fact that AA will sht-can you in a heartbeat, along with 5,000 of your coworkers if the economy makes a hiccup.
But hey, have fun flying your little A-320 Neo-nazi between DFW and Tulsa 3 times per day 👍🏼
You don’t need to **** on AA or our “little A-320” to make a point. As far as I know we all fly for a paycheck and QOL, and size doesn’t determine that. Any airline can ****-can you, we’re just numbers to them.
With that being said, I’ve said before and I’ll say it again, Atlas is the coolest job I’ve ever had. AA just pays way better and offers way more flexibility, hands down. If they both paid the same……I’d still be flying the 74 with a smile on my face.
