I wish something could be learned about pandering from our recent eff ups, but one does not beget the other as much as you really want it to. You really show your ignorance on this. I mean just use some critical thinking. When was all the DEI BS announced to the degree it has been recently? In that time, do you think it has made a massive difference in safety? I'm in no way condoning some of our recent eff ups, but the DEI trope gets really old. As many times as a middle aged white dude skids off the runway, has a pax in the driver's seat or bounces down the runway, somehow brains with a few synapses missing go to DEI.

You said it yourself - advertising. Have you seen UA class photos? Oh crap, that doesn't jive with your narrative of ignorance. Have standards been cut the past couple years? Yeah. They've been cut for everyone, not only certain demographics - see my previous class photo comment. I mean you're at AA right, who forever has been flowing large amounts - no interview, nothing. You certainly don't have any legs to be standing on about standards gate-keeping for the industry.
