Serious question: Between :30-:37 second mark what was happening on the bottom of the engine cowls? To somebody with no 76 systems knowledge it looks like cowls translating and some airflow induced condensation. Deck angle maybe too high to get a look at spoilers, but I really don't know.
Even with the excellent quality of the recording it is too difficult to visually tell if the cowl is transitioning to reverse but the visible water vapor coming from the runway is usually a tell tale sign that these guys did in fact cycle the reversers which would also have deployed the speed brakes which we can just barely make out in the video. I don't know UAL procedures but I am willing to bet that this is a big no-no over there.
