However I now understand that policy doesn't apply to probies like myself. It's good information to have and I will plan accordingly.

I was a little shocked too when I found out that the commuter policy doesn’t technically extend to probies. I’ve made it work thus far tho and so does everyone else. I know you’ll make it work. Luckily, this isn’t a carrier with limited flying. On a 5 day stretch, I was utilized 4 of the 5 days (if you include a SC conversation). I’m lucky that I get to sit LSR from home, makes reserve just a bit more bearable imo
