I just fly the plane so I don't GAF.
HAL and Aloha were given immunity to collaborate on coordinating prices to avoid driving each other out of business. That should offer a peak on how delicate inter island competition is. If it is intended to be a money losing proposition for a company aircraft constrained and uninterested in growing elsewhere then, cool. Been flying inter island most my carrier. Aloha, Hawaiian, and at least two others. I’m no expert, but what SWA management is saying about the Hawaii operation publicly and internally doesn’t add up.
We are both on these boards d:cking around, so I GAF the about the same as you.
