it’s less of an issue because you can call crew scheduling and let them know what is going on. You are also unlikely to completely miss the trip. Maybe you are running an hour late? CA can get the jet ready and you walk on just before push - or you take a delay but odds are they will work with you and figure something out. It’s all about communication.
officially it says something like “normal” traffic or so.
