No, wasn't factoring in attrition. Just the few FO>Capt upgrades and newhires coming in. Agree with you 100%, though. Flying definitely isn't sexy from the west coast (pretty much only JFK, BOS and PR/DR layovers and I think that's what we'll see for a while), but the pairings are more efficient it seems. 19+hr 3 days? Haven't seen that in a long time. CP told me that we're taking some of the flying from JFK, but pretty sure that's just the transcon stuff. I've heard that JW has said he could close LAX today if he wanted, but can't imagine they'd do that. The transcons make a ton of money and they can't do that without pilots here. Plus we're the mop-up crew when the $hit hits the fan on the east coast.
