This narrative that public schools are bad is just the latest iteration of 60 year war on public education.

The rich, who send their kids to private schools, have always been sore over the fact that they have to contribute to public education and gain no benefit. And God forbid they pay for something they don't use.

It started with "integrated schools." Then "corrupt teacher's unions." 2024's version is "indoctrination."

MAGA eats it all up without question. And will gladly burn down their own houses to serve their leaders.
