14 CFR 61.183(j) You need at least 15 hours PIC in category and class (airplane, multi engine land) to provide instruction in that class.
Slight correction, you need it to be eligable for the rating.
As originally worded, it sounds a little more along the lines of 61.195(f), which is what's needed
after obtaining the rating, provide instruction in a ME aircraft.
