I heard in recurrent that Envoy thinks they have interviewed enough pilots to fill classes for the rest of the year. Over 20 sim instructors have been sent back to the line for July and August. They expect classes to be small this summer and pick up in the fall.

It's always possible that American's woes will trickle down to Envoy; I certainly hope it doesn't get worse than no flight deck Wi-Fi, no kiddie wings, and being short staffed on reserves, but it's possible. Those who have already interviewed with Envoy have a decent shot, but it wouldn't expect more interviews until at least mid fall. The fact that the captains review board hasn't met in awhile is an indication of shifting priorities at headquarters.

It sucks to be furloughed and I wish you the best. I recommend you apply everywhere. It's a tough job market right now.
