FNG here. It appears that UA is requiring 100hrs/12months in order to successfully complete the application and submit. It might state that because there are different criteria for different applicant types (e.g., UMPP candidates only need 50/12). My very uneducated guess is that it is a show-stopper, but I wouldn't think it would stop you from applying, only starting training. Maybe they've tightened the reigns for applying, as they may have experienced an increase in applicants since other carriers have temporarily turned off their hiring.
