I think what makes it more challenging is simply the fact that there's so much variability around the activation dates. I could get awarded SFO CA and go to training as soon as I'm off probation, or it could extend X more months beyond there. Same thing with a lateral transfer; the manpower update said laterals could activate as soon as the Sept bid period, or as you say it could be 6 more months.

Still, good problems to have, in the grand scheme of things.
You live in SFO/Bay Area right?

WB right seat is the best QOL at this company, especially if you live in base. You’ll make 85% of the money of a NB CA and do 15% of the work with 5-6 more days off per month. That’s two months per year not at work.

I would put in a bid on the 787, then 777…. When it hits, you’ll never want to leave.
