PD Southwest FA opportunity
The NMB exists to prevent disruption to the system, which is the primary tool in our illustrious tool box. Even if we achieve industry standard pay and full retro, it still saves the company money to hold onto it during the intervening years. It's a time honored tactic to delay us to break down our unitly. Just watch while we fall apart and eat each other alive. Ultimately we get what we put up with, from the union, the company, and the government.
Better contracts and back pay have been and will be acheived by the flight attendants. When they blow us out of the water, will we hear the same tired excueses about W2, career earnings, widebody, furlough, etc.? Will PD develop a preferential interview program to become an FA off the bottom and top of our list? Could be a fun retirement job to supplement the A plan and Walmart greeter, you can sling drinks at ****ed off people and remain socially active, and you don't have to stop flying or hold a medical. Fishing and beer is not enough, people.
