Anecdotal, but it seems like UMPP are preferred over mil traditional this year. I know several UMPP hires but only 1 mil traditional, and he interviewed at WAI. I haven’t heard anything off a traditional app and I know a couple others with some great credentials (no worse than people getting CJOs in 22-23) that haven’t either.
This^^^^^^^^ I could go on a 3 hour diatribe how traditional app military members have been left in purgatory because of UMPP. It’s super frustrating. Stay patient they say…. Classic Luck and timing :/
