I don’t know exactly how he made the calculation, but thought it was interesting.
Definitely some interesting assumptions. I’m assuming this is targeting future applicants. Several huge assumptions that give this almost zero validity including upgrade times, age of new hires, no profit sharing, and a pretty conservative 5% return on 401k. According to Mr. Darbys website he is an expert witness. That means he will argue either side of an issue for whoever pays first. Wouldn’t be surprised if this article was presented during our negotiations.
