Not to pile on, but I am definitely in the anti GAS club when it comes to FA work rules. If they want to risk it, have at it as long as I am legal per the Feds on required crew. Buh bye. I am not responsible to know the ins and outs of the FA manual.
Besides, commuter code is to cover for someone if they have to make a commute flight. I have done it many times for other pilots who had to bolt. I have had it done for me.
Agreed, this is 100% in my "don't give a ****" folder. We aren't usually the ones that handle ensuring they follow their rules.
