Does anyone know how Delta pilot hiring wants applicants to address lost logbooks?
I’m a 20-year mil guy and the only general aviation flying I’ve done was the time it took to get a PPL during IFT prior to UPT, and my ATP practical.
I had a GA logbook capturing that comparatively little bit of flight time but that box has long been lost in several moves.
How should I address that? I hear other legacies want to see a notarized lost logbook affidavit, as well as your 8710s from the FAA to substantiate the time and to build continuity of your career time/ratings. Delta seems rather exact in what they want for paperwork, so I don’t want to show up to an interview with extra pieces of paper and disrupt the process, but I also don’t want to just have the Cessna/Beechcraft time in my electronic logbook as baseline entries without anything to substantiate it.
I’ve emailed the hiring team and waiting to hear back—just wanted to bounce this off the APC hive mind in case anyone else has been/heard of this situation. Thanks!
