Right, that was my experience. I do not have an ATP, when I was hired they were offering to pay for ATP/CTP. When they put me back in the pool they told me that they are no longer paying for it, and had me re-sign the CJO that reflected that. The thing that I don't understand is; if they want me to get it on my own i'll do that, but they didn't indicate that's what thy wanted. They just sort of said it was a Boeing aircraft issue, and when (if?) I get a date, I'll have to go prior to class on my own and get my ATP.
What would you guys do? go pay the 6-9k or whatever and hope that helps move the needle? or sit tight and see how things play out? The benfit of waiting is if it isn't going to help, I wouldn't have to spend the time and money spinning my wheels, there's a scenario where a regional or something will pay for it.
Like I said, I don't really have clear guidence, I really want to work here but I feel
stuck.
