EASA and FAA are reciprocal. How many aircraft do you expect a manufacturer to deliver before the ink is even dry on the certificate? XLR may be delayed but at least it hasn't killed over 300 people and delayed our seniority progression, like our mediocre Rube Goldberg flying device.
Since you're so hung up on everything Air Group and PNW: Think of the XLR as a EMB175 of the widebody world. AS mgmt would love an aircraft like that, they can open up new routes at 1/2 cost of a widebody. Despite having to pay mainline pilots to fly it, it fits the Air Group metrics perfectly. Other than the fact it isn't a fresh coat of paint on a turd.
