well i guess i could just look for myself. that story is actually from portfolio magazine's website. they're actually a great magazine, though only a year old. but very deep into the business world. anyway, sure enough, that stuff about auction securities is right in expressjet's 10-q, though they mention $13.7 million in "other than temporary impairment". gotta love that language.

and sure enough, also, in expressjet's 10-q is the 100% holdback requirement for visa and mastercard (american express is a separate deal and they don't give a holdback percentage).

ok so the original post is 100% true. that's what i was wondering.
