This is true. And, Spirit tried to be innovative by going with fuel efficient engines. Unfortunately, said engines don't work, so any benefits on the fuel side are more than offset by the maintenance/grounding costs... Oh well, it was a good idea.... 😔

I wonder if this is true. I am curious to see the profit and loss on the planes in operation vs the planes that are not. Is it possible that the only thing keeping us afloat right now are the planes we are getting paid to not operate? I don’t believe we are making money on the planes flying.
