Haha ok this is why reading the post that generated my response is critical. Why would I be trying to convince United pilots to move to Dallas, TX. I simply responded to a post claiming on 500k gross income I’d be paying the same overall taxes in TX vs CA. I brought up some rough numbers (I was off on CA state taxes by around 2%) on an individual/family grossing 500k per year.
