Ha. Sure. But I also personally know a LOT of people who have interviewed with less time/experience.
How did the rest of their background compare to yours? Did they have a higher level of education and or better grades? Did they have a better non flying job history including leadership positions? Did they have checkride failures or training washouts? Did they have better overall hours with regards to training and equipment types? Pilots tend to focus on hours. There is a lot more involved in who gets hired.
