Boeing products, including the ER, are capable of using ATs to touchdown. All aircraft at the company can do this. This has got to be the worst attempted 717 flex I’ve heard.

It must be more of a fleet culture thing. Most of the people I fly with on the 717 use the AT for every landing. When I’m in the JS on the 737 it seems like everyone takes them off. Granted that is a much smaller sample size.
