A friend that's been here for 20 years had some very wise words.... don't take a great gig and mess it up by getting greedy. As I've tried to internalize that and having watched this conundrum play out over and over, I've come to the realization that we tend to overestimate the monetary benefits and underestimate the QOL price paid to get there. Human fallacy I suppose to whitewash our desired path.
Anyway, good luck with your decision. Just remember, it's a marathon, and it all pays ridiculously well.
