I think AtlasVet clearly articulated the tasks which training must accomplish before hiring can resume.
Two additional items: how will all the successful candidates who weren't offered a job going to be handled, and will past applicants be dropped back in to the process at the same point they were at or will they restart from square one? Those issues should affect when a brand new applicant may get an interview offer.
My poorly-educated guess is new hire classes in June after the 737 folks get going in their transition courses. That means interviews as early as February, maybe. Come back next year to rag on me for being wrong.
Our hiring goes hand in hand with the legacies. Quite a few 737 and 767 guys will leave for AA/UA/DL when given the chance as that is more familiar style of flying for them. The 747 is like a different airline.
