History does have a way of repeating itself doesnt it? I'm not gonna disagree with the 1224 representation, it wasn't very good to say the least. Robles started 2118 and squandered every opporutnity to have a strong local/functioning union. Now? Under GU leadership we'll have to see what is built and left for our local pilots to run soon. I also agree that yeah, you don't need a crystal ball, you just have to understand human nature. The heart is easily corruptible and people place their own interests about others many times. BUT, I say again, I (ME) cannot, will not condemn anyone or accuse them of anything since GU has taken over. We have to remain vigilant, engaged, question, but remain cool, calm and collected for a bit.
We rooted out corruption before, and we can do it again if it comes down to it. We're not there, we need to just watch and support our fellow brothers and sisters that are currently donating their time under this new leadership. Which by the way IS providing them proper tools and training to do their jobs. Something we didn't have under AR.
