Most bins at security are 24.5 inches long and 19.5 wide. The new slow.machines have a limit to CT about 16.5 inches in height

You need to figure out an option to fit in that. The 26" bag isn't going to work with the new scanner.

Personally I would love to see a lawsuit with the TSA about this becuase it seems they arbitrarily chose a size.

You could tell tsa you don't want them to scan your bag so everytime you have to go through full security you could tell them to manually screen it and place rediculous things in there like large silicone objects.

This would take time- and it's not like it's the poor 20 dollar an hour agents fault his beaurocracy chose the scanner that was obviously a government kickback deal for the manufacturer

So it's either - find a smaller bag that works or have multiple bags

Strongbags has some 23 and 24" options. I don't like the funky handle on their new bag.

Luggage works has some thicker expandable options.

Travelpro seems to work for the tendies that carry rediculous amounts of stuff - and they love YouTube vlogs about how they pack

Consider packing cubes or vacuum bags (wife and I did 8 days in Europe with music festival with 22" carryons and vacuum bags)
