My point being that PB doesn't have any more "power" to drop a day than a PD does. Unless PB is converted to SUPP and used as IVD to drop a day.

IIRC in NB categories (3-99-5 rule) you can PD any on call reserve day as long it has positive coverage. In ER and WB categories (4-99-4 rule) you cannot PD a day that drops you below 4 consecutive on call days, but you can use a PB day to do this
