Announcing aircraft purchases without new customers or growth in cargo is a slippery slope.

What happened to the 4 triple 777s they announced in 2021?

I know a few people on the 747 with Atlas and they are barely working. Is this aircraft purchase simply to make investors happy because you don't have any work for them now or in the near future?
