As I've said, without considering any other factors other than distance to the airport, the argument you are making is that anyone who doesn't live in College Park is crazy for not doing it. Each person's circumstance and priorities are different. You might think that time is wasted while other find happiness in sacrificing an extra few hours a week so that their remaining time off is near friends and family.
