This should give you an idea of what to expect and how to prep for it. Everything you do now is to set up to be a UA pilot. So make every moved with intention.

Ans for the love of God DO NOT join Aviate and stay away from SkyWest. Those pilots are metered or never make it on. I would recommend Republic, AA WO, or something similar.
