THe fastest way, in general, is to get yourself some twin time. There are many insurance requirements out there that will require 100, 250, 500 hours of twin time to fly right seat in that jet. Not all of course, but most. The pilatus is a nice airplane but if you want the FASTEST route to a jet, that is not it.

Yeah I'm not really searching for the fastest way to a jet, I think I will enjoy the Pilatus for awhile.

I just asked the question because I've always just been curious. Seems so easy to get in a jet if you go airlines, but so hard if you don't. Wish I could find the happy medium.
