not immune to trends, primarily due to ups and dhl efforts to squeeze every penny of profit and lackluster charter volume, amf lost some runs, closed a few bases over the last year and is cutting costs where they can. load pay for charter pilots is gone -- a not-insignificant incentive. new hire home-based positions, few that there are, will be 3/1 instead of 2/2. for now, no pilot layoffs and still hiring, albeit getting more competitive.
